Title: Finance MIS Executive (SIS Support)

Reports to: IT Manager

Department: Operations

Summary of Position Anne Hill International School (AHIS) is seeking a dedicated Finance MIS Executive to support our iSAMS School Information System (primarily finance/fee management modules) and related software. This role suits candidates with solid finance knowledge, good communication skills, and an IT background as a strong advantage. Experience with ERP systems like Odoo or Microsoft Dynamics 365 (or similar) is highly valued for integration and troubleshooting.

Attributes

  • Strong communication skills: Able to explain technical/finance concepts clearly to non-technical users (finance team, school leaders), write clear emails/reports, and coordinate effectively with overseas vendors (basic to intermediate English sufficient).
  • Solid finance knowledge: Deep understanding of accounting practices, fee management, invoicing, reconciliation, aging reports, financial analysis in ERP/SIS environments.
  • IT background is a strong advantage: Familiarity with ERP/SIS systems, basic database concepts, software setup/integration, or troubleshooting.
  • Analytical mindset with quick learning ability for new processes and tools.
  • Skilled in multitasking, problem-solving, root-cause analysis, and managing user expectations patiently.
  • High work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to perform under pressure/tight deadlines.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in finance MIS support, ERP/SIS implementation, post-live support, or related roles.
  • Preferred: Experience with at least one ERP/SIS project (implementation or major upgrade).
  • Nice to have: Hands-on setup or usage of Odoo, Microsoft Dynamics 365, or similar ERP systems (especially finance/fee/invoicing modules).
  • Nice to have: End-user experience in a finance/accounting department.
  • Nice to have: Exposure to SaaS/cloud-based platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain iSAMS SIS, focusing on finance and fee management modules (daily operations, data accuracy).
  • Support implementation, testing, and rollout of new/upgraded IT systems related to finance.
  • Create and maintain reports, KPI tracking, and simple dashboards (using iSAMS exports, Excel, or basic BI tools).
  • Perform financial analysis: Monitor fee collection, prepare aging/reconciliation reports, basic forecasting.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvements to finance processes/workflows.
  • Provide daily support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution for the finance department.
  • Develop and deliver training sessions to staff on finance-related system features.
  • Ensure high data integrity, security, and compliance for financial records.
  • Coordinate with overseas vendors (e.g., follow setup instructions for integrations like Batonroute transport via iSAMS Batch/REST API – API key creation, permissions adjustment).
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and deliver excellent, responsive service.
  • Be flexible for weekend/late-night work on urgent maintenance or fixes.
  • Handle tasks under tight timelines and management pressure.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Head of IT.

Education & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, IT, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Certifications in ERP basics (Odoo/Dynamics), accounting software, or advanced Excel are a plus.
