Role Responsibilities

Teacher of ICT (Year 7 through Year 9) with the professional capacity to establish and expand initiatives in a developing programme is essential. The curriculum is based on Cambridge Lower Secondary and while desirable, experience in this programme is not essential.

Additionally, the ability to teach English as a Second Language or a humanities or social studies subject would be an advantage.

All teachers are expected to contribute to the pastoral/homeroom curriculum and to after-school activities programme.

Position Overview

The Learning and Teaching Assistant (LTA) at our preschool is essential in supporting the well-being, learning, and development of children. The LTA collaborates closely with teachers, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment, in line with international standards.

The key areas include Learning Support, Special Programmes and Resource Management.

The LTA also functions as a teacher aid/co-teacher in areas such as teaching, care for the children, after-school activities (CCAs), morning/recess/lunch duties, activities and school events.

  • Minimum Education:

The Preschool Principal will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the school and in ensuring a safe and supportive learning environment for all students.

He/she will provide leadership of all aspects related to teaching and learning and ensure the ongoing development of the school in line with the designated priorities as established by the Board.

The Preschool Principal will play a key role in shaping a positive school culture, supporting staff development, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality early childhood education.

Main responsibilities and duties

Educational Leadership:

 Job Summary:

The School Register plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and compliant operation of AHI preschool, primary and secondary school in District 2 by acting as a key liaison with government authorities and by developing and implementing a comprehensive library program aligned with MOET regulations.

  1. Governmental Reporting and Compliance:
  • Collaborate closely with the principals of the kindergarten, primary, and secondary sections, as well as the school management team, to gather necessary data and information for timely and accurate reporting to governmental agencies.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive system for tracking reporting deadlines and requirements for various governmental bodies.
  • Ensure all required reports (e.g., statistical reports, accreditation updates, compliance documents) are prepared accurately, reviewed thoroughly, and submitted on time.
  • Assist in the preparation for and coordination of any inspections or audits conducted by government authorities.
  • Maintain organized records of all communications, submissions, and approvals from government agencies.
  1. School Report Preparation:
  • Take primary responsibility for the compilation, writing, and formatting of various school reports as mandated by governmental agencies.
  • Work with relevant departments and staff to collect necessary information and data for report generation.
  • Ensure all reports adhere to the specific guidelines, formats, and deadlines set by the respective government bodies.
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all submitted reports.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Library Science, Public Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5years of relevant experience in an educational setting, preferably within the Vietnamese education system.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the Vietnamese Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) regulations and guidelines, particularly those related to school operations and library programs.
  • Proven experience in liaising with government authorities and preparing official reports.
  • Strong knowledge of library management principles, information literacy skills, and age-appropriate literature.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Vietnamese and English.
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

P.E Teacher

Job overview

The teacher of Physical Education is expected to work collaboratively in the development and delivery of the Physical Education and Swimming curriculum in order to facilitate the effective development of the subject throughout the school.

The teacher will also assume a role as Coordinator of Co-Curricular Activities (CCA) to lead, plan and manage the CCA Programme, including Activity Camps.
Specialist teachers are responsible for maximising the academic progress of the students they teach, working with colleagues to participate fully in the development of physical education and co-curricular activities in school.

Job Summary:

The Counsellor works with students individually, in small groups, and within the classroom setting to support and assist them in their academic, social, emotional, and personal development. Identifying students’ academic and social/emotional needs, as well as providing any necessary interventions, is essential in removing barriers to learning and helping students develop skills and behaviors critical for academic achievement. The knowledge, attitudes and skills students acquire during these years build the foundation for future success. Together with the Learning Support Teachers, other teachers and Academic Leadership, they provide direct instruction for students with learning needs using a strong differentiation model.
