Job Description Title: IT Infrastructure Supervisor
Reports to: IT Manager
Summary of Position: Anne Hill International School is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Supervisor to lead a small team and oversee the network, server infrastructure, security systems, and electronic data environment across all campuses. The role is responsible for managing daily IT operations, ensuring the security, stability, and optimal performance of the school’s IT systems — including Cisco & Aruba networking equipment, firewall management, IP CCTV surveillance, and Microsoft 365 administration — while supervising and developing 1-2 team members.
Attributes
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure, network administration, and systems support
- Prior experience supervising or mentoring a small team (1-2 staff) is highly preferred
- Strong technical expertise in Cisco and Aruba networking equipment, firewall configuration, IP CCTV systems, and Microsoft 365 administration
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and under pressure, including occasional weekends or after-hours for maintenance and urgent issues
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to lead the team and provide clear technical support to non-technical staff, teachers, students, and parents
- High standard of professionalism, ethics, and commitment to data security and confidentiality
- Fluent in English is a plus
Responsibilities
- Lead, supervise, mentor, and manage a small team of 1-2 IT technicians/support staff, including task assignments, performance monitoring, training, and professional development
- Manage and maintain the school’s network and server infrastructure, including Cisco switches/routers and Aruba wireless controllers & access points
- Design, configure, and administer Next-Gen Firewall systems, security policies, VPN, and threat prevention measures
- Deploy, monitor, and manage full IP CCTV surveillance systems (cameras, NVR, remote access) to ensure campus security
- Administer Microsoft 365 tenants, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, Intune device management, Azure AD, and security & compliance settings
- Plan, organize, and execute periodic maintenance, security updates, patches, backup, and disaster recovery for all IT systems
- Provide IT orientation and technical support for new staff, students, and parents (network access, passwords, M365 tools)
- Work closely with the IT Manager and Director of School to identify infrastructure needs and implement strategic IT solutions
- Assess and manage IT vendors, hardware procurement, and channel partnerships
- Ensure data security, network access control, asset management, and compliance with local laws and school policies
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Line Manager
Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Minimum 3-5 years of proven working experience in IT Infrastructure, Network Administration, Firewall, CCTV, and Microsoft 365 environment
- Hands-on experience with Cisco and Aruba networking equipment is required
- Relevant certifications (CCNA, Aruba Certified, Microsoft 365 Certified, etc.) are highly advantageous
- Previous team leadership or supervisory experience is a plus
