Health, Safety & Quality Supervisor

Summary of Position

The position functions as the Specialist for all matters related towards Health, Safety & Quality Control within the operations division of the school. These may include understanding & implementing health, hygiene & safety directives by local law and worldwide benchmarks within education. Conducting quality & safety audits, provide training and communicating with all stakeholders.  Working closely with nurse & contractors to ensure highest standards within the department. Driving results & solutions to exceed expectations within the department.

 

Duties & Responsibilities           

  • Implements weekly audit lists & walk through to ensure full compliance and meeting all standards
  • Function as departmental trainer for Health, Safety & Quality topics
  • Child Safeguarding
  • Ambassador for Health, Safety and Quality, periodically running campaigns and promoting these values.
  • Organise Parent’s Workshops related to the functions if and when required
  • Student Counselling project & Student Special Needs – Work with consultant
  • Participates in Parents Volunteer Group
  • Consults in Transport Safety, Maintenance related to Hygiene, Pest Control requirements
  • Recurrent Student Health Screening Administration
  • Meal / Allergy Exceptions Supervision
  • Security, Safety & Health Inspections, Fire Drill compliance
  • Sick Bay & Nurse management
  • Responsible for First Aid Training / act as trainer
  • Drive Canteen Operations including OSC
  • Drive Café Operations
  • Develop Food nutrition concept
  • Developing & implementing safety protocols for campus access such as arrival of students, parents & vendors on campus
  • Performs other duties that may be directed or requested by the Head of Operations.
  • Fully conversant with HHSS procedures, keeping management and/or staff informed of changes when required.
  • Maintains a high standard of personal hygiene, dress, uniform, and body language.
  • Is polite and professional in any situation where the image or reputation of the school is represented.
  • Attends meetings and training as required by Head of Operations.
  • Ensures that all activities are carried out honestly, ethically and within the parameters of local law.

 

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent education
  • Experience in administration, Food & Beverage or Quality Control is an advantage
  • Background in education, hospitality or health / hygiene related industry is preferred

 

Skills, Capabilities & Traits

  • Fluent in English (written and spoken), Vietnamese language is an advantage
  • Strong sense of responsibility and self-initiatives
  • Customer oriented personality
  • Excellent communicator
